What is Fastpitch Elite?

Fastpitch Elite is a website that will recognize the top softball prospects in the United States. We will also attempt to connect with showcases throughout the U.S. to highlight top prospects. One of the important components of this website is identifying a common list of the top prospects in each state. Fastpitch Elite is seeking the assistance of top travel coaches, high school coaches, college coaches, and others who follow elite level softball in each state to create these lists. We are looking for the top players in each state to start. These lists have the potential to grow as we evaluate talent and discover new prospects.


What are the goals of Fastpitch Elite?

1-Increase national exposure for the sport of fastpitch softball

2-Recognize the top athletes in fastpitch softball

3-Improve scholarship opportunities for players

4-Increase exposure of players from ALL states!


How do we develop the top prospect rankings?

1-Develop a database of well-respected, credible coaches and softball enthusiasts who have the best interests of the game in mind.

2-Coaches, scouts, and evaluators would not be permitted to include their own players on their lists.

3-The more coaches, scouts, and evaluators that we draw from, the more lists we will have. Top prospects should show up on more than just 1 or 2 lists.

4-Once we have developed top prospect lists, those lists could change. We start with a list and then we can add to that list, and the top prospect lists from each state could grow. How do they grow? Based upon recommendations from our staff and evaluations at top showcases. Eventually, we'd like to have a group of scouts who go to the showcases to evaluate the prospects. Some states may have a larger # of top prospects based upon the state's size or wealth of talent.


What is Needed from Coaches, Scouts, and Evaluators?

1-Spread the word. For this to be successful and comprehensive, we need to have as many people as possible from each state submitting information.
